Bihar State Cooperative Bank Recruitment 2016 – Apply Online for 441 Assistant Posts

Bihar State Cooperative Bank Ltd has published notification for the recruitment of Assistant (Multipurpose) vacancies on direct recruitment basis of Bihar State Cooperative Bank Ltd and District Central Cooperative Banks of resolution passes in their Board meetings as per the Registrar’s order. Eligible candidates may apply online from 11-03-2016 to 28-03-2016.


Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 21 to 33 years (Born not earlier than 02-01-1983 and not later than 01-01-1995) as on 01-01-2016. Relaxation of age will be applicable up to 05 years for SC/ ST/ MBC/ WBC/ BC and permanent staff working in Cooperative Banks register in Bihar State.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation Degree in any subject or equivalent from a recognized University with computer knowledge.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on online examination, written test & interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 400/- for SC/ ST candidates and Rs. 600/- for others through online mode by using only Debit Cards (Rupay/ Visa/ Master Card/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

SBI Online – 17140 Clerk Posts: State Bank of India (SBI) has given a notification for the recruitment of 17140 Junior Associate, Junior Agricultural Associate vacancies for Clerical Cadre In State Bank of India. Eligible candidates can apply online from 05-04-2016 to 25-04-2016. 

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 20 to 28 years as on 01-04-2016. Age relaxation is applicable 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD candidates as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation in any discipline or any equivalent for Junior Associate, Graduation in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities for Junior Agricultural Associate from a Government recognized university/ Institute.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on online written test (Preliminary & Main Examination), interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 600/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) through online payment gateway by using debit card/ credit card/ internet banking etc.

Do You Know SBI is not nationalized bank?

SBI is NOT a nationalized bank. It is a Public sector bank. This power is derived form the State Bank of India Act, 1955.


Why SBI was not nationalized during the waves of Nationalization of Banks in 1969 and 1980?
SBI was already under State control in 1969/1980, vide SBI Act, 1955. So, there was no need of Nationalization of State Bank of India. Banks that were nationalized in 1969 and 1980 were either owned by private business groups or individual investors.
