ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Educational Qualifications

a.) For Law Officers : Degree in Law (pass with minimum 55% marks) having 3 Years or 5 Years integrated course from a recognized University/Institute

b.) For Engineers : Civil Engineers/ Degree in Civil Engineering Electrical Engineer/ Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution with 60% marks

c.) For Security Officer : Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University

2. Age Limit

Candidate’s age should be between 21 years to 30 years for Engineers, 21 years to 35 years for Security Officer and 28 years to 35 years for Law Officer Posts. Age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC & for others as per rules.

Selection Process : Selections of candidates will be made on the basis of their marks obtained in written test, group discussion or interview.

SBI clerk vs IBPS clerk – भूमिका और  कार्यभार

आमतौर पर क्लर्क के पद पर सभी बैंकों में समान ही कार्यभार होता हैं। यह बैंकों में शिक्षित युवाओं के लिए शुरुआती बिंदु है। आमतौर पर नए क्लर्क भर्ती उम्मीदवार को कुछ हफ्तों के लिए प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता है और उनको प्रशासनिक कार्यालय में ही रखा जाता है। आपको फ्रंट ऑफिस में ऐसे कार्य दिए जाते हैं ,जिनमे आपका जनता के साथ सीधा संपर्क होता हैं। हालांकि, अधिकांश बैंकों को पूरी तरह से कम्प्यूटरीकृत किया जा रहा है, इसलिए आपका सारा काम कंप्यूटर पर ही होगा और साथ ही आपको पूरे दिन के लेनदेन का रिकॉर्ड रखना होता हैं।

Do You Know SBI is not nationalized bank?

SBI is NOT a nationalized bank. It is a Public sector bank. This power is derived form the State Bank of India Act, 1955.


Why SBI was not nationalized during the waves of Nationalization of Banks in 1969 and 1980?
SBI was already under State control in 1969/1980, vide SBI Act, 1955. So, there was no need of Nationalization of State Bank of India. Banks that were nationalized in 1969 and 1980 were either owned by private business groups or individual investors.
